Flirting Tips and Dating Advice

Words of Wisdom to Help Make Your Dating Experience One to Remember

Be Open-Minded

When looking for love, it might be a good idea to open your mind, as well as your heart.  Be open to any and all possibilities.  Be open to flirting.  You never know what might lie just around the corner.  This is one aspect of your life that might not benefit from being set in your ways.  Open your eyes, as well.

If you've ever watched a group of small children play, you may have noticed how easily they fall into a sort of union.  While one moment they were complete strangers, the next they've found their newest best friend.  Children aren't afraid to walk up to one another and start up a conversation.  Everyone is a "best friend" possibility.  There are no hard lines, therefore no lines to worry about crossing.  They are in the moment and happy to be there.  We, as adults, seem to have forgotten what that's like.  We have acquired all sorts of fears, hang-ups and baggage.   Those carefree days of childhood have been lost along the road that led us to adulthood.  The whole "
dating/
flirting" thing, however, becomes much easier if we can leave all of that behind us and begin the adventure as if we, again, are children;  seeing things through a child's wondrous eyes.

See that ominous "stranger" as an opportunity.  Look for opportunities everywhere you go.  Step outside your comfort zone...color outside the lines.  Remember when that was okay?  Be adventurous...try new things.  Wherever you go, go with your eyes wide open.  Lift up your head and keep your eye out for the unexpected.  If you usually walk to work, try a new route.  Go to a different dry cleaners, laundromat, drug store or grocer's.  When you walk, wherever you walk, instead of keeping your head down and looking at the cracks in the sidewalk, look up and make eye contact with everyone you pass.  Actually see the people you deal with everyday...the checker at the grocery store, the teller at the bank, the people on the other side of the counter.  Where, before, you may have had blinders on, now you will see.  You, then, alleviate the possibility of passing "the one" right on by.

Tomorrow is a brand new day.  Greet it with a new outlook, prepare yourself for any and all possibilities, and be ready for a new adventure.

Happy
Flirting!
